Registration and Licensing.
We are Licensed by the Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA) who are the licensing body for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) for companies or individuals wishing to market/supply seeds. Our licence no. is 7422
Our license requires that we maintain records (either written or electronic) of all transactions in seeds in order to create an audit trail so that the identity and provenance of any seed marketed can be established. We take great care to follow these legal requirements for seed supply and marketing as laid out in The Seed Marketing Regulations 2011.
All our vegetable seeds are carefully packed in re-sealable clear zip lock bags within a sealed labelled envelope that meets the official Seed Regulations labelling requirements.
Paypal is our preferred method of payment as this allows us to send your order promptly and it also protects you the buyer and us.
Please contact us if you wish to pay by Cheque or Postal Order.
All orders are dispatched within 48hrs and at most times quicker than this.

Rest of World.
Phytosanitary (Plant Health) Regulations for each country differ and for many countries import permits are required to be obtained by the buyer. Please contact us if you wish to import seeds to your country and we will advise of the costs for any testing, postage and phytosanitary certificate that is required for Customs and Plant Health import purposes.
Distance Selling Regulations and Refunds
Buying goods on the internet usually entitles you to the protection of the Distance Selling Regulations. You have the right to change your mind and return the seeds within seven days after you get them for a full refund. The return postage is at your expense and the seeds must be unopened and in their original packing for a full refund. We aim to process refunds within seven days of return.
Vegetable seed that is covered by the Seeds Regulations has to meet a minimum germination level before it can be sold. The seed we sell is above this germination standard and we take every care to ensure the seeds are of the highest quality and well packed and delivered securely so they reach you in good condition. However, the germination of seed is dependent on many factors such as soil temperature, moisture, soil diseases, soil pests and other factors. Local conditions may affect how seeds germinate so please check locally for the suitability of the vegetables you propose to grow.
